I graduated from York University majoring in Fine Arts – Visual Art and spent two additional years in Hong Kong Polytechnic University studying Industrial Design. I have achieved more than ten years of working experience in the design industry, collecting experiences from different design areas, but mainly focused in furniture design. I want to contribute back to society, and not just by making products for mere profit, but ethical and sustainable solutions that can benefit everyone and also a better quality of life and well-being to the community.
“To establish self-care, activities like craft-making and art-making include the creative element. However, it can also be looked at as everyday routines adding that creative element. Mindfulness activities would also increase self-awareness, which is part of self-care.”
