“I sometimes use a variety of objects in my studio practice for mark making. These objects are normally not used for this purpose, so I sometimes like to do a meditation where I hold the object in my hands and I imagine myself as the object, this includes a verbal description of the object. This activity makes me more aware of my body and mind connection and so it is a from of self care for me, the artist.”
