k8e sage is a non-binary, multi-disciplinary artist, curator and educator. They are currently exploring analog darkroom experimentation to express feelings of grief and care. They are passionate about the intersections of art and community building with an openness to human and more-than-human collaboration grounded in vulnerability and play.

“I see care as an embodied queering practice that requires not just thinking but feelings. I am interested in collaborating with light through darkroom experimentation, by appropriating personal objects and popular media from my everyday surroundings. I embrace failure as a vital component in the creation of care.”
